Presented By:
Kimberly Bass | Cooper University Health Care

Engaging the workforce is vital to organizational success. With the US unemployment rate recently hitting the lowest mark since the late 1960's, competition for talent is fierce. The responsibility of leaders of the organization is to ensure they are creating the right environment where employees feel valued, doing purposeful work and making a difference. This session will give leadership tips and tactics that will have the greatest impact on improving employee engagement and resulting bottom line.

Kimberly Bass | Cooper University Health Care

With more than 20 years in the healthcare industry, Kim has held numerous operational roles in physician practice management and both community and academic medical centers. As the Director of Service Excellence for a large, multi-hospital academic medical center, Kim established a framework to improve patient experience and satisfaction. Kim has worked with medical groups, small and large, in both rural and metropolitan areas. She enjoys teaming up with physician leaders to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Kim worked extensively on training staff on the caveats of value based purchasing and the importance of alignment with HCAHPS, patient safety, and quality metrics.

Kim is particularly interested in helping organizations use patients perception of care and quality metrics to improve organizational outcomes and bottom line results.
