Practice Administrator - Concord Hospital

Summary of Duties

  • Reporting to the Director of Specialty Services, Concord Hospital Medical Group (CHMG), the Practice Administrator will oversee the Center for Urologic Care.
  • The Practice Administrator will insure that general and sub-specialized programs within the Urology Center provide innovative, high quality care, that the primary practice and each satellite clinic is patient-centered and functions with optimal safety and efficiency.
  • The Practice Administrator will be directly responsible for maintaining the balance of clinical, administrative and managerial operations, ensuring that all staff are working at optimal levels of performance, clinical and quality metrics are understood, monitored, and achieved, budgets are developed and maintained in order to sustain operations in a fiscally viable manner, patient satisfaction levels and employee engagement levels are exceptional.
  • The Practice Administrator takes a leadership role in the development and implementation of cross-departmental projects and process improvement initiatives, as well as the mentoring of new and current practice leaders.
  • The position will oversee specific department and program goals, as well as continual process improvement and performance management.
  • The position provides practice level strategic leadership that focuses on expanding market share and developing services to meet the needs of the patients in the communities that we serve.
  • Practice Administrators assist to ultimately ensure that the mission, vision, and values of CHMG and Concord Hospital are upheld.


Education

Associates degree and minimum of 7 years of related experience or; Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of related experience or; Master’s degree and minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years demonstrated leadership experience. Knowledge of medical/surgical practice operations, including clinical work flows, scheduling, registration, electronic medical records, patient flow, billing, coding, charge capture, referrals, authorizations, payer guidelines, compliance, credentials, privileges, regulatory agencies, and DNV standards. Desirable candidates will possess knowledge of clinical and administrative team-based care.
